Lumenosophy

 
Lumenosophy is a new kind of philosophy which is rooted in light. It follows the supposition that; the wisdom of light is infinite, the sustenance of light is boundless, and the seeing of light extraordinary.
We might wonder why light was not declared to be the most universal underlying principle earlier. The ancient Greeks had the capacity to recognise this, yet none of them declared: To fos ine pan Demiurgos. Namely that; Light is the universal Demiurge.
The father of philosophy, Thales, envisaged water as the essence of everything.
Heraclitus envisaged the essence of everything in fire
Democritus (and modern scientists) insisted on the primacy of atoms
Pythagoras and Plato saw ultimate roots in Numbers
Consequently; Western philosophy and human knowledge at large, have, by adhering to the atomic principle, and the narrow materialist scientific paradigm, become lost in endless proliferations. This has resulted in a powerlessness to see the whole picture. Our philosophical outlook has become too dim, too obscure, too myopic. Consequently our current worldview is restricted to a singular materialist perspective.
Now with the ascent of Lumenosophy, the answer is so simple.
Light is the universal source, and the universal wisdom.
Thus: The philosophy of Light; ‘Lumenosophy‘ gives us the comfort and freedom to embrace the cosmic reaches of the universe, and also chisel out the greater meaning and dimensions of our human life on Earth.

 

Little Boxes

How difficult it would be today to write a holy book. To proclaim a revised version of God and spread the good news – “This is the one”!
But who would want a new version of God anyway? Those already committed to established religions are reluctant change their views (Even if they are secretly sceptical) for fear of disapproval, ridicule, or worse, and of course there are those who actually believe that what they believe is the truth!
Everything religious it seems is already accounted for. All nicely packaged and commercialised. The world is saturated with religious belief; even the spaces left between mainstream religions are filled by minority cults, leaving very little scope for a new vision of God to squeeze in, no matter how plausible.
We might also ask: Why would anybody ‘want’ a new version of God? Is it not the case that we are doing just fine with our present examples? In view of violent religious extremism, and the rather disturbing influence of religion in politics and world affairs, it would appear that we are not doing fine at all! But still people continue in the unshakable belief that ‘theirs’ is the only true religion, and their particular doctrines are unreservedly sacrosanct.
So for the foreseeable future at least; it would appear that humanity is well and truly stuck in the box of established religion. While every other aspect of human evolution moves on, traditional religion remains a fixed point from which there is no deviation, no escape, and no possibility of progress.
If we really are ready to think outside the proverbial box, and there is a genuine desire to live in peaceful coexistence? Then our respective religious boxes should be first on our agenda for re – appraisal. But here lies the dilemma – Many believers do not even recognise they are in a box. They are so totally convinced by their religious belief, that nothing can sway them. Even if their belief is utterly nonsensical and destructive, they still hold onto that belief as their guiding principle no matter how absurd it may be. And let us be aware; that all religion is ‘taught’ it is not part of our fundamental nature, we are not born as religious beings.
Humanity has been reading and reinterpreting the same dogma for thousands of years, which in reality has lead us nowhere. Isn’t it about time we had some new reading material?

 

 
The philosophy of Light
Since time immemorial human beings have been struck by the extraordinary nature of light, its luminosity and it’s all pervading nature. Eventually light was linked with that being which they later described as the highest. They vested all the potency of light in God, and in time they forgot that God is merely an inspiration in the image of Light. Consequently; the true nature of Light as the original source has become obscured by thousands of years of erroneous belief.
Thus; the light referred to by all the great teachers and prophets is the same light that continuously illuminates the universe and our lives. There are no separate versions of light for different religions. There is only light.
From a scientific perspective – It is common belief that atoms are the building blocks of everything. But what are atoms made of?
If we continue along this route of enquiry through the sub atomic realm we eventually arrive at a field of pure energy – ‘Particle wave Duality’- Light.
Thus; religion, and science, are different paths searching for the same answer; when in truth the answer to all our questions is right before our eyes and always has been. It is Light.
In fact if we reflect on this we will recognise that all: Life – Matter – and Formless phenomena are rooted in Light. Light explains everything.
Light is often used in a metaphorical context. We are simply stating that light is not metaphorical. Light is actual. That, which we seek, is not an elusive mystery, nor is it to be found in some abstract scientific hypothesis. It is real – it is here – it is with us right now – it is Light!
We don’t need to go to a church or temple. There are no rituals or prayers that guarantee a place in heaven. Nor do we need to ‘do’ anything, or ‘become’ anything; we don’t even have to wait until we die to see heaven! Heaven is right here, right where we are at this very moment.
The universe has conspired to create life. How does it create? Through the mysterious alchemy of Light intertwined with love. Love is not accidental; but is an essential aspect of universal creativity. The union of Light and Love is the source of all existence. Beyond physical matter, beyond scientific theories, beyond religious theology, beyond time, beyond all beyonds – Love and Light endure; continually evolving into ever more refined and beautiful manifestations of life and cosmos.
This is the reality of heaven – This beautiful Earth, this amazing Universe, and we are blessed with eyes to see it all, and a mind to comprehend it.
We should be grateful for every moment, for every moment is sacred. To live our lives in harmony with Love and Light is the highest form of virtue and the ultimate spiritual experience. Why? Simply because by doing so we engage directly with the creative essence of the universe. We also recognise that we are coming home to the actual source that we abandoned so long ago, in favour of mythical sky gods.
Light is indestructible and eternal; its message cannot be misinterpreted or corrupted. Light is the source of all life, and the antithesis of darkness and evil, it has always been so.
The call of spiritual light within us is unrelenting. This call will never abandon us. For Light is more potent than any doctrine whether religious or secular.

Are we alive? Work, eat, sleep, procreate, and die. Were we not born to live more than mindless machines, hiding away our human spirit? If we live for one thousand years how much of that time would we actually spend ‘living’?
What keeps the human soul caged in this hypnotic dungeon convincing us that life is no more than a meaningless drift from birth to death from one day’s labour to the next from one mouthful of food to the next craving our fix to keep us going until the next fix arrives trapped in our own smallness from one year to the next inventing pointless reasons and meanings to justify our hollow existence until all the years roll into one irrelevant lump of unlived life spent searching for the exit but never having the guts to step outside this life for fear of losing our precious possessions when the only precious thing we really possess is life yet we choose to notlive in this age of notliving and belief in god in this godless world is our only hope of salvation when hopedrugs and alcohol are all that keep us going and salvation lies at the end of a rainbow that fades even as we think of chasing it until tears of frustration leave a stream of sobbingselfpity because we work hard for our education that is no more than programming for a life of devout compliance to the grand plan that benefits those we deem superior because they are the ones with the money and power we crave for ourselves to set us free from this self created antithesis of utopia desperately yearned for in our dreams shattered every morning we open our eyes to be greeted again by empty rituals and habitual conformity presided over by forgotten cameras installed in nineteeneightyfour to make this world a safer place in which to notlive our nolives in passive obedience within this sanitised techno soulprison of modernity that has become the terrifying incarnation of Huxley’s visions.

The Cosmological Constant

 

The universe owes its existence, not to reality, (Of which we know precious little), but to human imagination and mathematical equations. Only through the medium of conscious observation does the universe become a bona fide representation of itself, and even then, only through the eyes of the beholder. Imagine then, what the universe must look like to other creatures, a frog for instance, or birds that see the ultra violet spectrum, or an insect with compound eyes? The rendering of the universe by human imagination can only be one account of thousands. But of course, we have methods of proof at our disposal, which makes our image of the universe at least plausible. Is it not always the case, that we first imagine something, and then set about trying to create it?
Of late it is noticeable that our sciences are struggling. Imagination has run too fast for science and technology to keep pace. In fact it is precisely because of rampant imagination and advanced mathematics that science does not possess the practical means to confirm the existence of – Dark Matter and Dark Energy. These phenomena have been imagined and mathematically proven, but thus far, have eluded all methods of detection. Consequently: Dark Matter and Dark Energy are presently hypothetical phenomena, and definitive proof of their existence is for the moment; ‘work in progress’. In the meantime, science entertains us with pie charts, artist’s impressions, and enthusiastic announcements.
Thus: According to the ‘Planck mission team’ and based on the standard model of cosmology – The universe consists of approximately; 27% Dark matter, 68% Dark energy, and 5% recognisable matter. (For convenience, we will lump Dark Matter and Dark Energy together, under the label; ‘Dark Stuff’, which hypothetically constitutes 95% of the imagined mathematical universe)
So what is Dark Stuff? Astrophysicists and scientists believe that something must exist for the imagined mathematical universe to behave as it does. This inexplicable something they have called ‘Dark Stuff’, because it does not absorb or emit light and is therefore invisible. However; according to the mathematical scientific model of the imagined universe, Dark Stuff must exist.

The basic argument is that the universe exists in a state of delicate balance.
The 5% known must be balanced by the 95% unknown. Therefore the universe as proposed by modern science is ‘asymmetrical’; that is to say, the 5% observable stuff is equal to the 95% invisible stuff, allowing the imagined universe to exist in a state of mathematical / gravitational equilibrium.

It is this concept of an asymmetric universe that offers us a tantalising glimpse of reality.
‘Dark Stuff’ does not absorb or emit light, which means that; to all intents and purposes, ‘Dark Stuff’ is insensible, impenetrable, and invisible. We might therefore suggest that because ‘Dark Stuff’ is incapable of absorbing or emitting anything at all, it is fundamentally ‘cataleptic’.
Thus; the universe according to the mathematical and scientific model is effectively 95% inert and ignorant, leaving only 5% of the universe responsive and illuminated.
If we now apply to these observations the principle of quantum entanglement, it becomes obvious that this asymmetry must be fundamental to all aspects of the interconnected universe, and therefore applies to all – life – matter – and formless phenomena.
This becomes particularly conspicuous within the conscious psyche of human beings, where it correlates exactly with the 95% / 5% asymmetric split proposed by the standard model of science. In fact; if we look objectively at the human condition, we recognise that; while wisdom (Illumination) is limited (5%), stupidity and ignorance (Darkness) is almost unlimited (95%). Thus; by recognising that the human condition itself is subject to the laws of universal asymmetry and quantum entanglement, the existence of ‘Dark Stuff’ becomes verified beyond all doubt.
Einstein came tantalisingly close to this discovery.
Contained within a discarded version of his theory of gravity, he proposed what he called a “Cosmological constant”. This unknown constant (Or missing ingredient) has now come to light in the form of ‘Dark Stuff’ or cosmic mindlessness. Einstein was also on the right path when he famously said –
“Only two things are infinite – The universe, and human stupidity. And I’m not so sure about the universe”!
Thus; further research into ‘Dark Stuff’ need not be focused into the depths of outer space, or require enormous amounts of equipment and funding. It has been confirmed here that ‘Dark Stuff’ undeniably exists in the form of utter stupidity and ignorance within the very fabric of the imagined mathematical universe, and is unmistakably present (And obvious) within the consciousness of humanity at large.
We therefore conclude that: ‘Dark Stuff’ should be given the same scientific status as Gamma radiation and Gravity. In that, we know for certain these invisible and formless phenomena exist, but they are detectable only by their effects.
We also propose that ‘Dark Stuff’ should be recognised in proper scientific terminology as ‘Cretinite’ consisting of hitherto unknown sub – atomic particles, identified here as ‘Morons’.
The ‘Moron’ takes a similar form to the atom, containing a central core; ‘Numbtron’, orbited by one or more ‘Ignorons’.
Thus; as the number of ‘Ignorons’ orbiting the central ‘Numbtron’ increase, the dim-wittedness and insensibility (Density) of ‘Dark Stuff’, or ‘Cretinite’, increases proportionately; eventually attaining a level of stupidity so dense, that it becomes incapable of absorbing or emitting anything at all, and thereby becomes an absolute nonentity. (For this reason it cannot be assigned an atomic weight)
We may further speculate that ‘Morons’ consist of lesser particles – ‘Quirks’ and ‘Dolts’ which at present constitute the smallest theoretical unobservable particles within the insentient imagined mathematical universe. Once again; although the ‘Quirk’ and its inconceivably obtuse counterpart, the ‘Dolt’, are undetectable in the physical sense, their presence is clearly recognizable in the human condition.
Thus; the ‘Quirk’ and ‘Dolt’ provide further support to this coherent and well-substantiated hypothesis, which we hereby submit for peer review and mathematical corroboration as: The theory of Cosmic Stupidity.
